As you enjoy your favorite foods over the holidays, these five tips will help you lose stubborn belly fat at the same time. It's the holiday season. If you want, you can celebrate with your friends and family and maybe even some people you don't know.

It can be hard to stay on track with all of the parties and food. Or even better, could you still lose weight? It's said by some sources that the average person gains 3–7 pounds each year.

This doesn't include any appetizers or snacks you might eat before the meal, which add another 1500 calories. When you eat one meal, you eat double the amount of calories that you should each day. A lot of fat and sugar are also often found in Thanksgiving dinner. This will make it hard for your body to stay slim.

After Thanksgiving, there are a lot of parties, luncheons, office parties, family gatherings, and baking events. There are a lot of chances to overindulge.

Winter holiday meals follow. If you celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanza, or another holiday, you're likely to have at least one holiday meal with your family and friends to go to. These feasts also have more than 3000 calories in each one.

The food, baked goods, candies, and drinks that people eat during the holidays are all so good that it's no wonder people gain a few pounds. Because of this, many people give up and think that there is no way to get through the holidays without overindulging and gaining too much weight. But it can happen.

But that's enough about how much weight you're going to gain. There are ways to keep it off and even lose a few pounds while you're at it.

You can still have fun at the holidays and lose weight at the same time. You can have a lot of fun this holiday season without having to buy bigger clothes next year. Just think ahead and be smart about how you enjoy your parties and celebrations, and how you take care of your body between all the events.

A. When you have a party, don't skip your meals

People think it's a good idea to skip meals before parties and feasts to make up for the big meal that is coming up. This is not true. Unfortunately, this makes you more hungry and makes it more likely that you will overeat.

Eating healthy meals instead will make your body feel full and happy. When you're having a meal or party, this helps you eat less food. They're a good choice for a pre-party meal because they are high in fiber, nutrients, and fiber, and they make you feel full and satisfied.

B. Use Portion Control

You know there will be a lot of good food at the event. It's also possible that they will be very rich and not very healthy. Holiday parties often have very few healthy options, but the food that is available is very tasty! You don't have to stop yourself from having a taste of these tasty treats.

It's okay to eat a homemade dessert like pie or some of that rich cheese dip.  Take some time to practice portion control. Small piece of pie or cake. The best way to eat at an event is to make your own little plate with the foods that you want.
